Congo: Construction work has started on further Emons school

Construction work started in June.

To help finance the primary school in Kamituga, Wilhelm Könntgen, MD of Emons Spedition, presented Green Helmets chairman Rupert Neudeck with a cheque for € 30,000. The cheque was handed over at the turn of the year in the presence of the vice-governor of the South Kivu province, Jean-Claude Kibala, and Emons personnel manager Ms Christiane Bauer.

The primary school in Kamituga is attended by 1,040 children taught by 18 teachers.
