21.07.2011 – Following in Emons Spedition’s footsteps, Emons Multitransport, Emons Impex and S.E.I. Spedition obtained “AEO F” certification. In addition, after the Leipzig branch establishment, Emons Spedition in Dresden, too, received the status of “regulated agent”.

Emons Multitransport, Emons Impex and S.E.I. Spedition achieve “AEO F” certification
The RoRo Russia specialist Emons Multitransport, the sea-freight company Emons Impex and Emons’ airfreight firm S.E.I. Spedition each received the highest possible status of “Authorised Economic Operator Full” (AEO F). Emons Spedition in Cologne was “AEO F” certified as early as 2009. An “Authorised Economic Operator” benefits by dealing more easily with customs formalities and, according to Germany’s Federal Finance Ministry, is deemed to be particularly reliable and trustworthy in the international transport chain.

Emons Spedition Dresden receives status as “regulated agent”
A “regulated agent” is a status for which airfreight companies, hauliers, etc, can apply with Germany’s Federal Aviation Administration (LBA) to obtain simplified handling of cargo at airports. Under the provisions of statute, airlines that do not have this status must subject cargo to extensive security measures prior to loading an aircraft. Besides the location in Dresden, the branch establishment at Leipzig, too, has been a regulated agent since last year.
