Ever since 1928, the name Emons has stood for continuity, high dependability, flexible services and one of the few private logistics networks in Germany.
Our network is independent and deploys our own equipment (real property, vehicle fleet) and our own drivers.
System traffic
Our ground-covering national network forms the basis for efficient system transportation that is managed in the form of direct or transhipment traffic with swap bodies (754) of various designs (interchangeable box, double stack ...). Any overhangs or backlogs are cushioned by our multi-tier production and an intelligent hub structure. Overnight delivery is offered for some 250 lines on a daily basis.
The system offers you:
- ground-covering distribution with 24-hour regular transit time
- 24-hour service with proactive information
- time- and deadline-based services with delivery options by 12:00 hrs / 10:00 hrs / 8:00 hrs
Since these products are IT supported, proactive information about critical tracing and tracking are a firm component of our service.Supply management
Of course, we also use our networks for the supply of merchandise to your locations. We collect your orders throughout Germany and your imports throughout (Eastern) Europe and worldwide, and deliver them just in time. This makes us your partners for all variants of supply management. The Emons Tramp unit has its own fleet (swap bodies, semi-trailers and mega-trailers) for both flexible and clocked charter traffic in Germany.
Emons Tramp covers the long-term and plannable market for partial and full loads as well as the short-term spot market.Combined transport
Emons is a founding member of Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG. We use this environment-sparing transport system for both national and international partial and full loads.
Emons’ branch establishments are located close to Kombiverkehr terminals. By using more than 1,000 swap bodies, we have the necessary flexibility to relocate our traffic to the railways.Container trucking
Via our Hamburg-based company Emons Multitransport, we deal with your output inside Germany and transport your containers to Hamburg’s seaport on time to meet deadlines.
