BEST TRAINEE 2007: Tribute is paid to Emons Spedition as the third-best training company in the German logistics sector

07.04.2008 – Emons took third place in the German-wide knowledge test for trainee management assistants in freight forwarding and logistics services.

Prizes were awarded to the best training companies and to the trainees who achieved the best results in the knowledge test. The Emons trainees from the Cologne branch who took part in the test did the company proud. Two of the candidates were among the top 5 and five were among the top 50 trainees.

Not only has Emons demonstrated the excellent quality of its training programme, but also its commitment to promoting the development of junior employees. In December 2007, the Leipzig branch received a prize for “excellent commitment to training”, which is an aspect of Emons’ corporate philosophy (see certificate (in German)). Tribute was also paid to the Magdeburg branch for “15 years of continuous vocational training” (see certificate (in German)).

The knowledge test, which was initiated by VerkehrsRundschau and the SCHUNCK GROUP, started in September 2007 and took eight weeks to complete. It consisted of eight questionnaires containing ten multiple choice questions on the subject of logistics. The results were published in VerkehrsRundschau and on the website at www.best-azubi.de.
