Since 2017, Emons-Container-Services GmbH (ECS) has been operating multimodal terminals in Dresden and Schkeuditz/Leipzig. In addition to pure cargo-handling services, ECS also controls our customers’ goods flows with precise logistical performance. We deliver all container-related services, such as flexitank, repair and maintenance with unbeatable competence.
Emons is even active at the maritime ports as an independent shunting service provider with its subsidiary ProLok. Goods transport to and from the terminal is flexible and autonomous.

With the upgrading of key rail lines, the legendary Silk Road is once again regaining its historic significance. Since 2014, Emons Air & Sea has been offering rail transport to East Asia as a rapid alternative to shipping by sea. The transit time between China and Hamburg or Duisburg is from 18 to 21 days, The connection of multiple terminals to East Asia’s railroad network makes possible multiple departures per week. Depending on the dispatching and receiving points, FCL and LCL containers are routed to different depots.
